Decorative Saw Cuts, Specialized Dye Patterns, Logos and Joint Fill

There are several ways to achieve additional customization when choosing concrete for your floor.

Decorative Saw Cuts

Decorative saw cuts can be used in conjunction with specialized dye patterns to create borders and intricate designs, as well as embedding your businesses custom logo or even a family crest. If you want to add a personal graphic or artistic flare, dye patterns and saw cuts offer an endless possibility for enhancing your concrete floor. In fact, if you can think it, we can help your vision become a reality.

Joints

When it comes to concrete, there are three types of joints: isolation, construction, and contraction. The purpose of these joints is to allow the concrete to move independently from the structure it’s attached too, as well as to shrink as it dries and thus prevent cracking. Unfortunately, joints are often a place where particle matter like dirt or crumbs like to settle, making it a challenge to keep clean. To combat this, we recommend filling them with either a poly-urea or a silicon product. Our trained installers will be able to determine which product is right for your application; however, rest assured joint fill can integrate into the overall design of your floor. If your goal is a seamless, more uniform appearance, a custom color match is a great option, and if you’re a bit adventurous, a contrasting color is an excellent choice for pattern variation.
