Where We Work
Our service coverage extends throughout Oregon, including Portland Metro, Salem, Eugene, Corvallis as well as the Central Oregon Coast. Our new Austin, Texas location serves the Greater Austin area from Round Rock to Kyle and the surrounding areas. Many of our projects require prevailing wages rates offering an opportunity for higher compensation.
Primary Duties
The Concrete Polishing Technician’s primary duties are to grind and polish concrete surfaces as well as to apply other decorative concrete surfaces and coatings. Concrete polishers will operate machinery; examples include an HTC grinder/polisher, hand grinding, and edgers. The Concrete Polisher has an eye for detail, understands different types of concrete surfaces, and delivers a high-quality deliverable that meets the client’s expectations. Initially, the applicant will train with project Leads to learn the craft and proper techniques our client’s desire. Opportunities for career advancement and higher compensation are available based on experience and skill.
Job Specific Duties Include:
- Operating floor grinder machines effectively to evenly match grinding, honing and polishing levels.
- Operate vehicles, grinder/polishers, floor scrubbers, hand power tools, vacuums, and other industry-related equipment following safety procedures.
- Installation of water and solvent-based materials such as epoxies, joint fillers, overlays, sealers, stains, and densifiers.
- Be responsible for filling out company work orders completely and accurately or other required documentation of job duties.
- Inventory, chemical, and tooling usage daily.
- Clean and store all equipment and tooling upon completion of jobs.
- Requires physical work including working on hands/knees, and pushing or pulling objects
- Ability to learn new maintenance techniques and processes

What We Provide

- Excellent compensation package, including performance bonuses
- Compensation: $37,000 – $65,000+ annually
